1. Information We Collect

My Budget is designed to work without an account. We collect the minimum information needed to operate the app and this website.

• Budget data you enter: income, expenses, categories, savings goals and notes.
• Contact details you voluntarily submit through our contact form (name, email, subject, message).
• Billing details processed by our payment partner when you subscribe to Premium.
• Basic technical data such as device type, app version and anonymised crash diagnostics.

2. Local Storage

By default, all of your budgeting data is stored locally on your device. It is not transmitted to our servers, and it remains accessible to you offline. Uninstalling the app without a backup permanently removes that local data.

3. Cloud Storage

Cloud Sync is an optional Premium feature. If you enable it, your budgets, transactions and goals are encrypted in transit and at rest and stored so you can restore or sync them across your devices. You can disable Cloud Sync or request deletion of cloud copies at any time.

4. Security

We apply industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption, encryption at rest for cloud data, access controls and regular reviews. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Cookies

This website uses strictly necessary cookies and local storage to remember preferences such as light or dark theme. We do not use advertising cookies and My Budget contains no ads.

6. Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics to understand which pages and features are used. Analytics data is not used to profile you and is never linked to your individual budget entries.

7. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of trusted processors: Razorpay for payments and subscriptions, Google Play for app distribution, and our hosting and email providers. Each processes data only as needed to deliver their service and under their own privacy terms.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of any personal data we hold. You may withdraw consent for optional processing and object to processing at any time. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

My Budget is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or on this page with a revised effective date.
